Sign Language Documentation and Sign Linguistics Study, Course 4

To enhance sign linguistics research knowledge and skills of the CEAD sign linguistics research team. Knowledge learned will be directly applied to ongoing FSL research projects of the AHEAD unit. Course #4 tackles semantics of sign language or the study of meaning the signs. The t raining was provided by Dr. James Woodward, a sign linguistics expert who have been conducting sign linguistics research and trainings in Asia (Vietnam, Hongkong, Cambodia) and Hawaii.February 18-28, 2019, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde

Meeting with Usec. Dig-Dino, Dr. Areola, and Dr. Olinares of Department of Education

Presentation was initiated to share the different strategies of Benilde towards diversity and Deaf inclusion, and as well as the outcomes and impact of Benilde Deaf Education to its students and graduates. The meeting was conducted with the aim of building possible collaboration and partnership of DepEd with Benilde and Deaf organizations.
