On June 19-21, 2014, CEAD and SDEAS faculty members who are part of the team in charge of creating the model high school for the Deaf attended a symposium on sign bilingualism and deaf education at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The symposium focused on bilingualism and how it is being implemented in neighboring ASEAN countries. Researches about sign language and the brain, assessing language abilities, and components for educational success among others were also presented.
We would like to invite you to attend a 3-part Learning Session series where we will share our learning and insights
from the said symposium. See you there!
